Hello, I am Pastor Wes Lewis and I have been pastor at Vinco Brethren Church since September 2005. I am 40 years old and I have come to Vinco with my wife Julie, and daughter Maggie, who have both been tremendous blessings to me and my ministry. I have had various jobs in my life including salesman, delivery person, manufacturing, and carpenter assistant. It was from these life experiences that God called me into the role of Pastor. March 7, 2004 I was called for commissioning in the Brethren Church through my local congregation. From there, I spent the next year and a half working my secular job and ministering by filling pulpits on Sundays. Vinco Brethren then called me to my first pastorate and we made the move to full-time ministry. As I fulfill the duties of Pastor, I am continuing in my education toward a degree in ministry, with the help of the church.

Through my unconventional arrival into ministry, I have learned many lessons. Many times I had no idea where I was heading or what God wanted to do with me. Jesus showed me that if we trust in Him, all things are possible. This is what I hope to share at Vinco. We do not need to have anything special about ourselves; we just need a desire to serve our great and awesome God! We allow God to work when we are willing to be used by Him, to reach out to a dying world.

My philosophy of ministry is simply this- for the glory of Jesus Christ. Let everything we do be for His Glory and all other things will be worked out.
